I have not used this filter yet since it is the summer. But, it perfectly matched my old dirty filter from my Hot Springs Sovereign hot tub. My tub is inside the house.

Much cheaper than OEM filters. Has held up very well with constant use and it cleans out well. Fit my Hotsprings Hotspot hot-tub. they seem to make the jets more powerful from the deign in them. I have ordered 3 of them and will order more If I need to.

The design is correct.

I have now used several of these over the past few years. Work great. I'll keep ordering as needed.

The spa filter cartridge I purchased was fine at first, but after a few months I noticed some strange goo on the top of it. The other 2 identical cartridges didn't have any on them.My best guess was that a slug had somehow gotten inside the filter housing and "melted" on top of the cartridge. I cleaned it thoroughly and put it back in the hot tub.A month later I checked again and found similar gooey residue on the top of the same filter cartridge. The other 2 cartridges had none. I have not been able to get through to the manufacturer and at this point I'm assuming there's something off with the cartridge or materials that it's made from.

This is the second time I have bought these filters for my spa. They are inexpensive replacement that work extremely well and do exactly what they're supposed to.
