Full overlay hinges are for individual cabinets or the cabinets on either end of a run of cabinets. Half overlay hinges are intended for pairs of doors in the middle of a run of cabinets, where two doors have their hinges mounted on opposite sides of a shared middle partition.

What’s the difference between full overlay vs half overlay?

Full overlay is where the door fully overlaps the side wall and doesn't have another door to run into (ie an outside corner cabinet) 1/2 overlay is used where two doors share a side wall back to back, so each door only covers half the end of the side wall.

Excellent corner cupboard door replacement hinges

We bought these hinges to replace a broken one in our corner cupboard. Of course, the holes did not line up with the Hettich originals but by careful measuring using the dimensions given in the video, using door repair plates where the original holes were very close to the new ones and just starting the new holes with a 2mm bit, these fitted extremely well and work a treat. This is a very good quality product and it was much easier to refit the door and adjust than the old Hettich hinges. They'll probably outlast me
