Used for years
We have used this brand of ice pack for years. It is pliable enough to contour to the body, but thick and stiff enough to be effective. It is well made and we have never experienced any flaws. Using it right out of the freezer, you will get your full 20 minutes of therapy. I have purchased these in England for when we stay with my niece and given away more than I can say to friends and neighbors who did not know how to buy a quality ice pack. I rely on these ice packs for a severely degenerated L5 and S1 which presses on a nerve. I call ice my miracle drug!

Great size that fits entirely over my shoulder. No need to move a smaller ice pack from place to place. It is partially compartmented which allows for the gel to be moved around, if needed, but still keeps the gel evenly distributed. This gel pack really holds onto the cold longer than others I've used. The compartment separation also allows it to fold easily over my shoulder. Worth the money.

I ordered these ice/heat pads in preparation for an upcoming hip surgery. Although I have not used them yet for this particular reason, I have tried them out to relieve the discomfort I have now. These are really nice to use. They stay in place and cover a large area. This is important for me post-op. They remained cold for quite some time, however, I did not keep track of the actual time. They lie flat on a freezer shelf making it easy to use. They can be stacked in the freezer one on top of the other. I purchased one, then liked it so much, I ordered a second one. The fabric is very sturdy so I am anticipating good, long time use of them. I hope this is useful for you.
