My son recently got braces and our orthodontist gave us a few platypus flossers - one side is flat so it can slip under the wire and floss the teeth. I ordered these because a) they say they're specifically for flossing with braces and b) they're a great deal. But the piece that is supposed to slip under the wire and lay flat is too thick. It can fit under the wire with some force, but I'm not going to jeopardize the wire to get in there. So we've been using those pipe cleaner-looking picks which work great. Having said this, Plackers Ortho Picks are great for flossing teeth without braces so the rest of the family can use them.
