It does seem to have the potential to work pretty well as a deodorant, but I didn't have the opportunity to test it fully. Unfortunately, it was increasingly causing stinging (not after shaving, just in general) and my skin was feeling increasingly tender so I discontinued use. The scent was really REALLY not for me - I thought it smelled like a strange lemon cleaner scent. But scent is a very subjective thing and obviously many other people like the smell.
