Here is what you need to know
Its not a easy headphone to drive. You need to have a good amp to actually enjoy the headphone. Keep that in mind. The headphone sounds out of this world. No questions about that. If you are looking for something you can listen at home attached to an amp and a decent device ( lg phones, IPAD or any decent laptop with a jack). Then go for it. This is a cheap planar but believe is premium where it matters. If you looking for something more versatile as in just plug and play device without amp then, Phillips SHP9500/9600 is your go to.

Best planar headphone in this price range
Primarily I didn't want to buy this because of two things . 1. The flimsy wire given with the box 2. QC issues with Hifiman. But I did take a chance. And amazed. This is a pair of wonderful cans. Wire is not that flimsy according to other reviews, but not good also. The seller added an extra good wire , that was a bonus. I've not faced any QC issues till now. But one amp/dac is needed to unlock hidden magical sound. I'm using Shanling UP4, which is not that great of a dac/amp. But it does it's job. I would recommend Fiio Q3/Ifi Zen Dac 2 for better performance. And also if possible buy a balanced cable , you'll in the moon. Take care of your cans. Adios!

sound quality is superb i recived an extra cable (total 2 cables)

So far so good. Touchwood. 6 months in. Driving with a Minifuse 1, Plenty for it.
Initially used a KZ-Am01, was "ok" with it. Minifuse 1 is way better. So far so good.

Best budget open back can get
Since SHP9500 are not easily available in India, these are the best open backs you can get for the money.. Do not try to run them off a phone or a laptop or a cheap dongle, you'll be disappointed.. If you have a decent amp I'd suggest these over dynamics like Senn hd 599 which are roughly same price but these sound better if powered well imo.. Thankfully I didn't receive that horrible stiff cable. I got older style cable that used to come with earlier models of 400..
