Gelunxin Door Pull Handle Cover for BMW 320,328,330,335,M3 2012-2018 & BMW 428, 435,M4 2014-2017 (Left Front+Right Front, Carbon Fiber)

I have a 2014 BMW 328i xdrive. Over time the material on the handles of my car began to degrade and in the hot sun they become gross and sticky. At first I thought I had used something on my car to cause the issue. I Imagine my surprise to learn that this is a common problem on these cars. don't know if BMW changed the material on it's newer cars, but the original was terrible. The material of these has a nice feel similar to how I think it was supposed to be, but without the goo part. The fit is flawless and clipped right on as if it was always meant to be there. They look perfect. Now I just wish I had bought them sooner. No more black goo on my hand when I close the door after a hot day, or just looking horrible. Pics show the before and after. This isn't the worst one as I had already popped one on my driver side door and didn't want to mess with it, but let's just say it was far far worse. Unless something happens these will never be removed from my car. Worth every penny.

Don’t usually do reviews but man this was a def great purchase and quick delivery. Ordered it and received the next following day. My door handles were all sticky and gummy melting wich was not of my liking since it would get my fingers and hand all black and sticky but the product was great. Got me the carbon fiber and gave my 15 bmw 328i a great look and quick easy install took me less than 10 secs to install and great durability and fit. Def would recommend.

Purchased the "Black" color, arrived 2 days with Prime. My 2013 328i has the charcoal interior and the left and right door handle material had gotten sticky and pock-marked with age. The Black color covers not only matched almost perfectly, they were also very easy to install and stayed solidly in place. For installation, I started by pushing the cover as far in at the top as I could, then pulled in the bottom until it snapped into place. See before and after pictures. Wish all my "projects" were this easy and looked this great when complete!

Got a BMW door with the melting pull handle(s)? Yeah, me too. Don't bother taking the whole door apart for a DIY job or paying a dealer hundreds of dollars to fix something that shouldn't be an issue to begin with! Get these instead. I give them 5-stars overall and for easy to install & value for money. 4-stars for durability because they are still new, but my expectation is they will hold up well over time. Key points: 1. Inexpensive. 2. Installs in seconds over existing door handle. Comes with no instructions, but if you need instructions to install these, you probably shouldn't be driving a car in the first place. They are that simple to install. 3. Looks great. Good color match to the rest of the black interior trim. 4. Fits perfectly and securely. A casual observer in the car will not realize they are aftermarket snap-on pieces to cover a melting BMW door pull handle. 5. Feels good on the hand. No more tacky melting handle gunk on your hands. 6. See key point 1 again if you're still not sure!

This is a wonderful product that couldn’t be easier to install. It fits and looks great, right over the terrible gummy rubber coating BMW uses. It is not at all loose or bulky. Looks like it has always been there. Frankly I was skeptical. There are YouTube videos that show the “right” way to remove the interior door panel and install replacement handle covers. But there is so much prying of plastic components, working around wiring for switches and mirrors, etc that this looked like a really unappealing project. When I snapped on these covers I was stunned at how easy it was to solve the problem. Before we discovered this solution we had used black duct tape to cover the sticky rubber surfaces on both forward doors. This left some residue that I removed with nail polish remover before snapping on the new covers. Could not be happier with how this worked.

I used this on the driver side door of my 2015 428i Gran Coupe. Because it is a very precise fit, it was MUCH tougher to install than I expected. I was worried that it would be a very cheap flimsy piece of plastic but it is actually quite solid and does not flex. The fact that it doesn’t flex at all actually makes it more difficult to install, but it’s also what contributes to it giving a good end result. The first several times I tried to put it on, it got wedged in place halfway in with the sharp bottom edge digging into the leather by the window controls and would go no further. Because the plastic does not flex, there was no way to try to compress it to work it into place. My first inclination was to believe that it was just too big to fit my car. I had to try installing it several times and eventually I just had to really manhandle it to push the top part up against the door at the top of the handleabsolutely as far as it would go - which took a lot of force – and finally it went into place. Much more work – and scary risk of damaging the leather – than the installation video would indicate. That being said, it’s such a tight fit because it really is manufactured to very tight tolerances so that, when complete, all of the edges are flush with the door at the top and the control panel at the bottom, and you would not notice that it was not originally part of the door unless you knew the piece had been replaced. It does obviously make the handle grip a little thicker but I honestly don’t think anyone would notice because it is molded so well to the shape of the original handle. So, while a bit pricey for a simple piece of plastic, it fixed my issue with the sticky door handle. At the end of the day, it was worth it for me although I wish the installation was more simple and required less effort. While my passenger side door has not become sticky yet, I’ll use the other handle that came in the package for that door when the need arises.

I have a BMW 435i and had the typical melting door handles. Why BMW have such a lousy feature on an expensive vehicle. That being said these covers are amazing. They fit perfectly and provide a great finish. Be patient as you put them in place. I was a little nervous they might break, but after some patience they click in perfectly. Great purchase!
