It didn’t work for my car so I had to return it, which made me so sad! It seemed like a great solution for safely bolstering while in your car. Very sturdy and effective

Must be configured to one firearm only not easily adapted. No accessories like a laser or light will even fit inside the throat off the frame. The lock feels like grinding teeth.

Love the fact that I can securely lock my Glock in my trunk while I work and then easily retrieve it when I leave to have with me. Was a little tricky installing in the Mustang trunk, but it works great.

Holster seems sturdy and overall well built, however, the AVK fasteners normally require a install tool. Their ghetto fix is ridiculous at best. When you mess one of the fasteners up with the ghetto fix, you're done. They only put two of those 3 cent fasteners in the box. Now you need to source more parts. In my case, I ordered the proper install tool on Amazon and adittional fasteners from eBay for a total of $22. For the premium price of this product, they should add the 4$ install tool rather than a 1 cent nut.

I really like the concept; when mounted properly & locked the holster will definitely prevent unauthorized access to your pistol. The holster is of good design, heavy duty materials, & well constructed. However it is bulky & takes up considerable space in the cab of my truck. But I made my own mounting bracket for it & have the holster mounted to my driver's side seat frame. The holster is mounted so that the handle of my pistol is level with the seat & between my knees while I'm driving; very easy to access if needed. And easy to lock up if I must leave my pistol in the truck. Bottom line is I'm very happy with it right now.

I love the concept of this and was excited to install it. However there are several flaws that are causing me to return it and look for another solution.1) It fits my Glock 17 Gen5 perfectly... if it is kept horizontal with gravity holding the gun down in the holster. However there was no surface in my truck that would allow it to be mounted horizontally. In a more vertical position (gun pointing down), the gun is has slop that allows it to rock back and forth. The front sight would sometimes get caught in a groove in the holster and the back end of the gun would move around enough that I was worried it would eventually wear on the finish.2) There is no security for the magazine & ammo. You need to remove it and store it securely somewhere else.3) It is supposed to come with tamper resistant screws to attach the mounting bracket to the truck, however in my package standard button head cap screws were provided instead. Anyone with a standard hex wrench could have easily removed this from the vehicle in less than a minute, stolen the holster with my gun in it and taken it back to wherever to get the gun out of the holster.4) It is supposed to come with a flange nut to hold the AVK fastener in place when installing it. Instead a nyloc nut was provided with a separate washer. That would be adequate for some purposes, but for the instillation, the flange on the nut is critical to holding the AVK fastener. The separate nut & washer will not work.These hardware substitutions were enough to make me decide to return this. The hardware came in a sealed packet, so this was obviously not a return issue. I could have probably bought replacement hardware, or even asked them to send me the correct hardware, but the fact that they made these obvious substitutions made me second guess the quality of their product. What other things might they have substituted without me knowing that would compromise the security of my gun? That's not a chance I'm willing to take, so this is going back.I wish the company the best of luck. They have a great concept, but they need to refine it a bit and tighten up their QC. Perhaps if they ever release a NRA Handgun Holster Gen2, I might give it a try.

I am very pleased with the item. I mounted it in my Jeep CJ for lockable storage if I happen to have to go into one of those a "gun free" zones. Quick delivery and a solid product. Love it.

Simple, effective, minimal use of space, and easy to install
