Stens Air Filter, Briggs & Stratton 798897, ea, 1

I ordered a B&S 798897. I read that number directly off the top of my current filter before I purchased. They sent me a STENS, made in Korea or Taiwan replacement. I wouldn't have a problem with that because the B&S original was probably made there as well, but it didn't fit. The company sent me the STENS 798897 but the hole (inside diameter) is smaller and it won't fit on my engine. The rest of the review is about the company I ordered it from Chicago Lawn Mower and Snow Blower. I emailed them my concern. They asked me for the Make and Model # information off of the B&S engine. I sent them that. They wrote back that the information I sent was incorrect - I guess they can see my mower from Chicago better than I can as the info I sent was letter for letter right off of the engine plate. I asked them to pay for return shipping since the item was not a fit for what i ordered. They said no and said I could take it up with STENS if I didn't like their answer. I wouldn't order something again from Chicago Lawn Mower and Snow Blower if they paid me to take it off their hands!!!!!

fits my John Deere z435 perfectly, wish it came with a dust cover to fit though.

Bought for my Snapper Pro S200 with 28HP commercial Briggs & Stratton motor. Fit perfect works great change it every year.

The filter did not fit. There were no markings on the filter. When the company was contacted they were not helpful at all and did not provide a way to return it.

looked at buying the stock Briggs & Stratton Filter for my 27HP 810cc engine got this for much less than the B&S. You can't tell the difference side by side.

Fits great on my Wright ZTO 52"

Have not found any negative issues with the filter. It fit as it should and seems made of good material similar to factory installed filter.
