LOVE this fabric!
I purchased this ticking in ivory/gray. First comment is about the color. On my monitor/screen, the stripe looked more of a taupe, but it is definitely gray. Second, I read the other reviews about the weight of this ticking. It is not as stiff or as thick as duck cloth, but is a great weight for reupholstering chairs. Since it is not as stiff as duck, it was easier to use in an upholstery situation. At this point, I can't comment on the longevity of the fabric, but judging it by just the feel, I think it will be a very durable fabric. I think it would be perfect weight for making aprons, totes, etc. LOVE this fabric!

I highly recommend this material!
Order came earlier than expected. I ordered 8 yards to make curtains. Material maybe not quite as thick as your typical pillow ticking way back when but thicker than regular cotton material by far. Excellent for curtains! They turned out beautiful. No flaws in the material. I will highly recommend this material.

Awesome Buy!
GREAT value for ticking fabric in general! It a sturdy cotton. I noticed in previous reviews that some complained about the fabric coming precut in single yards, but I ordered 4 yards and it arrived in a 4 yard strip! No complaints here.

Not that thick.
I like the ticking, but this material is not as thick as expected. For example when I was doing the tufting with the needle it would cause a bigger hole then expected because the fibers were to loosely apart??? There were times that the fabric broke because I would thread in with a needle in one sport and come out almost next to the first stitch and then I would pull just a bit for the middle part (the fabric between the two stitches) only to break. I hope this makes sense...I think this fabric would be great for curtains, pillows, and maybe a blanket of some sort.

Color is true to description
I was nervous to buy fabric online,but the store did not have what I wanted. I wasn’t going to redo a room and not have exactly what I wanted! LOVE the look of this fabric,washes up well!

Softer than pillow duck ticking!
The fabric is softer than pillow duck ticking. I have been making "gathering aprons" from cotton ticking fabric. I decided to give this a try, and I am glad that I did. It is perfect for my project. Softer than the pillow ticking I had used in the past; and sews very nicely!
