I rated this 5 starts when I first got it. Now it is 4 stars. This replaced a 2008 Vizio TV remote which died after 2 years on a TV that was rarely used and wasn't mishandled or dropped. I thought about getting the exact replacement which was cheaper but decided to try a hopefully sturdier model. Pros This remote works straight out of the box - just put the 2 batteries which come with the remote in. DONE. CONS 1. There is NOT a sleep timer button on the face front. 2. There are no instructions as to how to use this to set the sleep time on a TV. Just playing around with it, I clicked the MENU button and a screen with "bars" popped up allowing a person to manually set the screen brightness and other screen modes on or off. Still playing with it, I clicked forward from there and the SLEEP TIMER page showed (2nd item down on the list) A pain to find to but at least there was a sleep timer and we use the sleep button all the time. November 17 2011- I clicked the remote Menu button and got the same menu as on my Verizon remote control not that "bar screen which leads to the sleep timer area". Hours later after googling how to get sleep timer, emailing Visio tech support for help who were worthless and contemplating buying a universal remote with a sleep timer button, Though experimenting with this remote, if I hit SET and then MENU, that bar screen "usually" shows up and from there I can get the sleep timer area. I still may dump this remote for another one because sometimes after hitting the MENU button and getting that bar screen, the OK button which I have to click on the right side to go forward a page to get the sleep timer doesn't work. It mostly works but not always.

First of all works well even you have to press 2-3 times to work, battery cover is lossen have to use tape… but is better than nothing.

Manette qui marche directement ! Aucune manoeuvre ou programmation nécessaire! Je n'ai jamais été autant satisfaite d'une télécommande universelle! Jai appuyer sur power et tout fonctionne parfaitement wow
