I'm impressed with this set of two 2.55mm plug extensions cables...especially for the price (these are like the good old days of Radio Shack prices...used to love that store!). They are well made & available in 3 lengths. I opted for the shortest, as that was all I need to connect pillow speakers to my nice little Jensen bedside CD player-radio. There is no distortion using the extension cable & both input & output ends of the extension cables fit my devices perfectly. I've had such adaptors (both male & female) where there wasn't accurate size & the connection would be interrupted if the connector was jostled. Both connector ends are secure fit on these extensions & the gold plating, copper & shielding make for audio no different than if my pillow speakers or headphones were plugged directly into my CD player. The nylon braided covering is terrific & (for me) an added plus using it at the head of my bed running under my pillows. These are definitely great extension cables. You can't beat the price for each length available!
