I recently purchased the Philips Domestic Appliances Electric Kettle with a 1.7L capacity, and I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision. This kettle is not only sleek and stylish with its stainless steel finish, but it also boasts a user-friendly design that makes boiling water a breeze. The spring lid opens smoothly, allowing for easy filling and cleaning, while the indicator light clearly shows when the kettle is in operation. The pirouette base is a fantastic feature, providing easy 360-degree access and making it perfect for any kitchen countertop. I appreciate the kettle’s fast boiling capabilities; it heats water in no time, making my morning tea or coffee preparation much quicker. Additionally, the kettle has a solid build quality, giving me confidence in its durability. Good kettle. Well made. Has all the right features and does the job. Great vfm and highly recommended!

Nicely built basic kettle, easy to fill, boil and pour. Stainless cleans up well with a damp cloth so easy to keep looking good. Seems to accumulate limescale on the base more than previous kettle but also the scales flake off frequently and you can empty them out of the lid… perhaps that’s a good thing to minimise buildup. One star off as it seems slow to boil compared to my old Breville, but I am impatient 🤣

Perfect and reliable brand

After the first one arrived faulty the replacement was sent out very quickly and without any cost or hassle to me. The kettle is a basic kettle and so it doesn’t have many features but that I what I was after. Simple and well made. It’s quiet during operation and doesn’t sound like an aeroplane taking off, you can see how much water is in it from the measure in the side and I like the blue light. Boiling is fairly quick and there’s a switch to open the lid which is big enough to get my hand in and clear it properly. All in all a good affordable kettle with no fuss. It's alright, but takes a long time to boil the full kettle. Once this breaks, I will probably order a different model to test. The look is simple, and looks nice in the counter.

Arrived quick in 2 days of placing the order; light weight and well packaged . Easy to use - Noise level is high - not sure worth the price but time will tell - it has a 2 year warranty - and it does shut off automatically after boiling.

Good kettle for the price. It has a sleek design is light and easy to handle. The noise level is ok compared to other kettles I have had. It's quite slow boiling. Just over 5 mins full capacity 1.7l. Nice spout and soft pour. Hope it lasts.
