My new Home Impression LED candles are the first I've ever had. I program them to come on every evenings at 5PM off at 9Pm. That is what works for me. It looks like real candles flickering in my living room but with no worries about forgetting to blow out the flame when I leave the room. I put a little greenery ring around the bottoms and they look so cozy and romantic with the soft warm appealing light. I highly recommend this pair above all other battery powered candles that you have to turn the switch off and on each time you want to use them. The flame shine so bright and overall they're good quality light fixtures and for the price I highly recommend :-)

I have this in a hanging lantern and it looks very realistic. I didn’t realize it had two timer options until I reread the description again so I’m going to give the four hour option a try tonight. I love the fact that it uses C batteries instead of AA, since Cs give it more operational time. Because it’s plastic, not wax, it can be used in warmer locations without worrying about it melting, like others I currently have.

This candle is amazing. I bought it years ago, still love it. I have it on timer since early November 2023, it is June 2024 now, and the candle still lights up every night. It runs on 2 c batteries, and they last, and last, and last. Perhaps till November 24. AMAZING!!!

First of all, the picture's misleading-- You see 2 candles? You only get one. Fooled me. They should have said very clearly in the description that you're only buying ONE candle. 2 candles for $6-ish is a great deal. 1 for that price is merely OK. Back to that later... The good-- It's a good 4-star Flameless Candle at a reasonable price. I like the 4hr/8hr timer. I like the use of 2 C batteries-- not included-- they last longer. It looks fairly realistic when it's lit, especially from 6' away or more. The flickering of the light output is fairly realistic and the irregularity in the silhouette of the light that transmits through the sides of the candle helps the effect. The less good-- When the candle is not lit, it looks very fake-- from close, from far away, it's a little too glossy and regular shaped. Also, back to the misleading picture, notice how the picture has a soft focus-- it makes the plastic seem more wax-like; I was guessing that it might be resin, but, no, it's a thin, hard-shelled plastic. That's fair-- they did say "plastic"-- but it detracts from the realism. The sides have sort of a semigloss look to them-- almost wax-like. The top interior (where the "flame" is), however, is very glossy, and very hemispheric; so if you're looking down on it from a few feet away, it spoils the candle illusion (especially if it's not lit). Overall, it has some nice features, it's not a bad for the price, but not as realistic as some other flameless candles.

After much research, we decided on these battery operated candles. I needed something that could contend with the extreme Florida heat- our covered patio get's a lot of sun mid-day to early evening. I also wanted to get something that I would not have to constantly be changing the batteries. So...I decided on these and so glad I did! We are using the 4 hour time function. After 2 months, battery is strong, timer is spot on and they look great. They have upheld the Florida harsh sun and bi-polar weather patterns and rain with no issue! They still look new, right out of the box. Remember, these are outdoor candles, so don't expect these to be the 'real' looking thing. They completely serve their purpose and add the perfect ambiance to your outdoor setting. Set and forget! Enjoy.

None of these candles worked as described. I was looking for LED, remote controlled candles that used C batteries to reduce the frequency of battery changes. At the time, 386 out of 466 verified purchases gave this product a 4+ star rating. How they were configured: - Using new, fully charged C batteries. - Each candle's switch was set to 8 hours. - All 6 were arranged together. - Used the remote to set an 8 hour schedule and the Mode to Light. - All of the candles blinked their lights at the same time the remote issued the settings above. After two hours, half of them turned off. Two hours later, the 3 that were still on turned off and the 3 that had turned off turned on again. For the rest of the day, random candles would randomly turn on and off. One candle stayed on most of the time. The seller (Home Impressions) was contacted to replace the candles, but 5 days later they had not responded. Would not recommend this product. When a product has 11% 1 star verified purchase ratings and reviewers comment on the seller's lack of response, add that to whatever you're using to evaluate whether the product's reviews are to be trusted. UPDATE: Amazon replaced the candles and the same thing happened. None of them would stay on/off as scheduled.

I got these candles for some lanterns I use around my outdoor seating area. These are perfect. Only takes AA batteries and they seem to last quite a long time. I use the timer function and they come on the same time every night. Because they are not wax, they can take the daytime sun. Plus I like that the "flame" sits below the top of the candle, making the candle look a little more real with the flicker but not fake looking flame. Great deal for four of them!

I cannot praise these candles to highly. After accidentally setting fire to my hair (yes, truly!) with an IKEA candle in a glass. It wasn't IKEA's fault, just a moment of thoughtlessness. The DFL Candles look exactly like the real thing: they fooled my husband who muttered about fire risk and the aforementioned accident. I assured him that they were artificial, he gave me a look. I invited him to hover his hand over the top. Would you believe it: I had to pull the batteries out to prove they were artificial! The Candles have a timer that runs for 4 hours or 8 hours, they give a gentle realistic flicker and look for all the world like small church candles that have burnt for a few hours. I've used two for a few months burning on the Max time every night. The light is less intrusive than a plug in night light, but sufficient to enable me to safely let my Dog outside etc without losing my night vision. The candles use two C batteries: these are available quite reasonably priced from Amazon at £10 for 10 and fast free delivery. I don't have a financial interest in either Amazon Seller, both of them just have excellent, value for money products.

Work very well outside, even when exposed to rain.

Ich habe die Kerzen seit Februar bei uns ungeschützt im Garten stehen und sie funktionieren immer noch tadellos. Ich habe seit dem ich sie habe auch noch nie die Batterien wechseln müssen. Von der Beleuchtung her sehen sie aber eher weniger nach echten Kerzen aus, mehr wie ein diffuses Licht.

Je suis déçue par l'aspect de ces bougies qui font vraiment plastique, par contre fonctionnent très bien et prix attractif
