Bought these to wear in the rain forest of Belize. I wore one on the ankle and one on my wrist (opposite of each other) they have a decent look (some color combos where a little too much) and good strength. I used the same ones for three straight days and counted a total of three bites, perhaps it was the rain, the time of year, or biological chemistry but I am crediting the bracelet for doing an excellent job

The product does appear to work. We ended up wearing as an anklet as the smell is very strong. It’s not a bad smell, but definitely smells like repellent

I mean come on keep the bugs away and wear a friendship bracelet. This is such a good product design. I wore it in Africa as did my entire family both on ankles and wrists and loved it. They smell as a bug repellent bracelet would but they look great. I loved the single color only ones and wish they had more options on that but that is just a personal choice. My family and I wore these on a recent trip to Jamaica and Cozumel, Mexico. The bracelets (and me and my daughter used them also as ankle bracelets) looked great, but they did not help. Mosquitoes were biting even right next to the bracelets so they were not deterred at all by them. In all fairness they did get wet but even putting on two new ones, it didn’t stop them 100% from biting us. The picture is bad but you may be able to see a bug bite right next to band.

I am the one in the crowd that the bugs seem to single out. So I needed something as I live in Florida and we have bug almost 365 days a year, the only break we get is when a really cold, cold front comes in. The great part is, when the scent is gone I just add some dabs of citronella to the bands, I bought that separately. Another great deal about these is that you can just wear them as bracelets when the scent fades out. I keep about 2 on my arm, when the scent wears out and I need to keep the bugs away, I just dab citronella to the opposite side of the band and I'M good to go, the bands can last for month and months of wear.

1st time I tried one & got bites I thought it was because I’d gotten the bracelet wet. 2nd try, fresh from package and tied on my ankle I had a dozen mosquito bites within 20 minutes ON THE LEG the repellent is on!! Cute but completely ineffective :(
