Pondmaster Deep Water Air Pump AP-20 Air Pump

It’s what I expected I’m replacing a similar pump that failed in 2 years hopefully this will last longer.

Don't wast your time with those "commercial" pumps sold all over the internet under many different names. (Active Aqua, Hydrofarm, EcoPlus, etc.) This is the pump you have been looking for. The air flow ratings on those cheap pumps are ridiculously exaggerated. I replaced THREE of those 20w pumps with just ONE of these 20w Danner/Pondmaster pumps and now have DOUBLE the air for a third of the wattage. The air temperature coming out of the pump is way WAY cooler than the super-heated air those cheap pumps put out. Buy a Danner, you won't be sorry.edit: A couple months of continuous running later and I'm more in love with this pump than ever. Every time I walk into the room where the pump is located, I note how quiet that room is now. I could sleep next to the thing. It's about a billion times quieter than the cheapo pumps it replaced and the air flow is still like new. Worth every penny!

Barely audible as compared to the Aquamax pump I had been using for years, and pumps significantly more air. This pump has significantly cleared my aquaponics fish tank of pond slime and algae in less than a week (1,000 gallon tank). Came with an aerator included with the pump, which seems to be working well. The sound of air bubbling to the surface is louder than the pump- which is to say that the pump is quiet plus there is very little vibration. It sits on the lid of a five gallon bucket next to the fish tank in my greenhouse (bucket filled with sand because the old pump walked around so much I wanted something to dampen the vibration.)

Replaced same pond pump from a couple of years ago. Pond is 10' x 3' deep and pump runs 24x7 to keep fish alive during New England winters.

So much quieter than the previous pump we had. I would have thought more power would equal more noise but I was very wrong. This air pump pumps air to the bottom of my 6 foot pond along with the other areas. We have had it awhile anditsstill working great.2 years later, running almost 24/7 in a box outside and it has died. Ants overran it so it wasn't the pumps fault. Buying another one and hopefully will have better luck!

Solid, simple and reliable, did not come with a diffuser stone or tubing. The plastic diffuser is a diverter for smaller tubes really need to buy a diffuser stone and 10-15ft of tubing. The instructions say you need 1/2' size tubing but it's not accurate you need to go to pond store to get attachments that make it work. so far our Koi love their jacuzzi!

Great product and price, works well for pond, used same one previously for 5-7 years

My last Pondmaster stopped working after two seasons.Hope thispump last more than two years.
