THESE ARE NOT REAL SAMSUNG headphones. All of my phones are Galaxy's and came with the original headphones so I know the difference. As soon as you pick them up you can feel that they are not the same as the real ones. I compared them to the ones that came with my Galaxy 7, 9, and 10 and these are noticeably bigger. The Samsung stamp on the box is not the same size or font as the boxes mine came in, either. Sound is inferior, but not bad enough to send back because they were on my Wish List and I'm not gonna be that person. I'm really bummed, though, because I have little ears and the real ones are the only ones that fit in my ears without discomfort.

Would these also fit into a Galaxy S6?

Yes,Samsung devices are forward and backward compatibile.

Does the mic work for iPhones?

No!! Not even for Galaxy. Sound is good to listening music but the mic does not work.
