This is the best seam ripper you will ever need to buy
This is the perfect seam ripper. It has a lightweight stainless steel body that feels perfectly balanced in your hand. It has an exchangeable blade system, using a standard scalpel surgical blade usually #12/#10. This razor sharp pointed blade, allows you to slide under a single stitch with surgical precision. This reduces the k of accidentally snagging or cutting the fabric, which is a common hazard with the hook-style rippers. A must seam ripper for serious sewers.

Great tool!
Extremely sharp and light weight. Works perfect for ripping seams on all kinds of fabric. The blade is like a very small box cutter so you do need to use caution when using it. It's a great addition to sewists and crafters.

Where has this been all my life?
These scalpels are the absolute best things for ripping seams! I have just used it to lower linen seams that were so small I couldn’t even get a normal ripper to fit between the stitches. If held right they plow through the stitches “like butta”. Really great price for four of these and boy are they sharp! I didn’t cut myself or the fabric but I see how it might happen if not paying close attention. Recommend Recommend Recommend!

Great sewing tool
These seam rippers are the greatest. They are super sharp, get the smallest stitches, make ripping an entire seam so much easier. Of course if you never do dumb things like I do, you’ll never need them! Beware, “surgical sharp” means just that.

Great surgical precision ripper.
These are great when you messed up on your Corona virus making mask. I didn't want to throw away the fabric that I messed up on sewing, so I just used this to cut the threads, and voila, you can redo what you just messed up. Easy to use and super sharp, but be careful, you might also cut the fabric along with the thread.

thin handle will cramp hand if you use it for more than a few minutes
Worked as expected; thinness makes it very easy to stash and carry; multiple mean I have one in each machine case plus one with my rotary cutter and one in my sewing desk.

Best seam ripper ever.
Best seam ripper ever. These are sharp or sharper than the old ones from back in the day. But if you slip it will slice you like a scalpel. So you have to learn how to use them a bit differently to protect your fingers. But it’s so worth it to be able to have a Seam ripper that actually can cut the thread.

The non-cutting portion catches fabric
I was hoping for something I could use with fabric as a seam ripper and to remove excess machine-embroidery threads. They are sharp, seem to be of general medium quality, but they have a fatal flaw: they catch on the fabric. There is no portion of the cutting end that can touch the fabric - even the side of the blade where it doesn't cut. In order to use these for either of my purposes, I have to make sure that it is an instance where I can use this well away from the fabric. That doesn't happen very often when in need of a seam ripper.
