Just what I wanted

If you are like me, that used to train to improve strength, stamina and muscle tonification, this is the right choice for you. I've used other kinds of skipping ropes, mostly speed ripes, very fast with a wired cable. These are not the best for the type of workout I do. To the other reviewers that break this rope: Don't use it on the concrete or rough floor, the PVC cable will break, and it's completely normal. Also, if you shorten the cable without cutting enough to leave space for the rope to spin, it will twist too much and eventually brake. This jumping rope is a good product, if you use it properly, it will not break.

Great for workout, as it has weights you can adjust on the handles. Not a good fit for different moves/tricks due to thinkness of rope.

Quality rope. I have multiple ropes and this one feels more like a speed rope with heavier grips. The weight on the grips are definitely noticeable vs. your standard jump ropes, and I'm still using the lighter weight. The resistance will definitely accelerate your progression there. The rope is not as thick as Muay Thai ropes. Muay Thai ropes are heavier and more resistance during swinging. This rope feels more like a speed rope but with added weight at the handles.
