Gets the job done
I like this brush and think it is just fine for it's intended purpose. I got it to try out dry brushing. Some people are saying that it's not a real brush for dry brushing, but I guess I wouldn't know for sure, (because this is my first time trying it) but I like it for me just fine. If the bristles were any stiffer, I think it would hurt too much. I feel like this brush's bristles are plenty "coarse" enough. I don't have any medical issues that I need to dry brush for, I just wanted to give it a shot to reap the benefits. I do have some dry skin that I thought maybe it would help with too. I watched a You Tube video with experienced people talking about dry brushing, it's many benefits and the correct way to do it. They said you could get a dry brush that would work most anywhere. And I saw this same brush recommended from a person that also uses essential oils in combination with her dry brushing. I use essential oils too and use them after dry brushing with this brush. I've only used this brush a handful of times so far, but I like how it feels. If you're going to dry brush, I think you'll need to get used to the sensation and I believe this is a great brush to start with. If you're an experienced dry brusher, maybe you could upgrade later if you wanted, but I don't see myself needing any rougher bristles than this brush provides. The first couple of times I used this brush, a few bristles fell out, but that was it. They did not continue to fall out for me (at least not yet). The contour on this brush is nice too. It's easy to handle. Some brushes have long handles on them, but I don't see the need. If that was your preference, that's fine, but I can reach everywhere I need to on my body with this brush just fine. I'm average weight & height though, if that matters. I also like that you can hang this brush, though I don't currently have a hook to hang it on. I don't use this brush in the shower, I use it just before, as I've heard this is the proper way to do it with dry brushing. So I can't speak to how it may hold up when wet, as mine stays dry. I hope this review was helpful!

Good quality, easy to use and dry brushing works!
Greatf brush, as described. Dry brushing is amazing, a big difference in my skin with one use. It not only feels good, it made my skin soft and less crepey. I immediately ordered a nice set for facial use and love it too.

Shower Brush
The brush I had before was to long and kept banging into the shower walls. It was very annoying! So in my search for a shorter handle I chose this brush. It works fine but the handle is almost to short and I can't reach my back as well as with the longer handle. So something just a little longer than this one but shorter than the average would be best. That said, this seems to be sturdy and I like the way the bristles feel. I don't like very soft brushes or those shower poofs. I like a good vigorous scrub. That's the purpose of a brush. Poofs and super soft brushes don't do it for me.

Great Brush for Exfoliating
Used this as a gentle exfoliater for the dry skin on my body. I used it on dry skin and it actually felt good as I brushed off the dry skin on my arms and legs hand and feet. And I followed up with lotion. The handle fit perfectly in my hand and was comfortable to hold. The bristles were just the right stiffness without hurting and they held their shape. A great value for the price as well. And it has a rope loop so I can hang it.

Scrub a Dub Dub!
Love this brush, it is great for the shower. I use it once or twice a week and it really helps get the dead skin off. I would purchase again.

Oooh, smooth~
I purchased this for dry brushing before showers and it seems to be doing a great job. The brush construction is simple, the natural bristles are anchored into a plastic bed which is attached to the wooden body with nails. If you're hypersensitive to aesthetics, I suppose the visible nails could bother you, but they don't affect the use of the brush at all and you certainly can't feel them. The curve of the sturdy handle is nice and it's just long enough for me to reach everywhere I need without having to bend in crazy positions. The bristles (what I think is the most important part) are a little firmer than I expected, but I had never dry brushed before. I'm used to the super soft facial brushes that are made for delicate skin. This brush is definitely not that, but it's not supposed to be. These bristles are firm and do a great job of loosening dry skin and getting circulation started. My legs are painfully white and typically very dry, moisturized or not, but since I've been dry brushing for the last few weeks they've smoothed out quite a bit. I keep it in a visible place (because I have a terrible memory) and dry brush pretty much everything, sans face and neck of course, in long strokes towards my heart/stomach before every shower with deliberate, but not crazy harsh, strokes. After the shower, I make sure to moisturize my legs and arms. Is it a miracle cure for bumps, cellulite, and unevenness? Not for me, but it has been an excellent tool to make my moisturizer far more effective and that has been well worth. My skin is smoother and my moisturizer actually does it's job now that it's not competing with a (excuse the grossness) layer of dead skin.
