Dr. Frederick's Original Arthritis Compression Gloves, Fingerless, M, 2 ct

I broke my wrist a few weeks ago and had surgery. I bought these to help with the swelling in my hand and fingers, these work great!! They truly help with the swelling. They are soft and do not make my hand sweat. There are no tags sewn inside which is great because it would cause irritation. I highly recommend for post-surgery as in my case!

Of all the different compressions gloves I have purchased, Dr. Fredericks have been the best. They are not too strong but just the right strength I need to take care of the pain I experience. I get relief from them immediately, which is so helpful.

I've had these for a while, but have been using them a lot more lately due to pain in the thumb joints both in the thumb itself, and that joint down right above the wrist. They help enormously. the one thing that bothers me is that i got a Medium, and i have small hands, but they are still very problematic to get on & off. The stitching seems okay, but you really have to tug and tug to get them on and off. Which kind of defeats the purpose of not irritating those thumb joints. They ARE helpful, however, and comfortable once you get them on, and now, a year later, I am going to try a Large because of the on/off factor lately that is really bothering me. I'll see what happens. The compression is good, maybe a bit on the tighter side, and you can just rinse them out when they need it. There is, however, a seam in what I consider a strange place, near the lower thumb/wrist area, but it doesn't bother me. It leaves an impression, however, but is not bothersome. They are nice & soft too.

I've got joint pain in my middle finger on my right hand (dominate hand). This glove seems to be helping. I wear it all night and I can actually bend my finger the next morning plus it feels great. I wear it throughout the day if I can. I highly recommend it!

I would be giving this product 5 stars if not for the placement of tags on both wrists that are stitched into thick seams secured inside. The gloves themselves are wonderful -- the soft material wraps comfortably around your fingers & provides a constant, pain-reducing pressure on swollen joints. These gloves cover more of your fingers than others, rising above the mid-joints of the fingers. That is very helpful to me. However, having the ends of tags & raised ridges inside the gloves was a very poor choice for this type of product -- gloves that are meant to fit very snugly on your skin. The longer the gloves are on, the more the seam & tag push into the sensitive skin on your wrists and since people who buy these are already having chronic pain, that additional irritation seems even more severe. I have Rheumatoid Arthritis & in flares of swelling & deep, penetrating pain, the last thing I can handle is anything scratchy & digging into my skin. I had to cut the tags & ridges out in order to use the gloves which left me with holes on both wrist sections which I'm sure will increase in size with use. But I had no choice if i wanted to use them. I'm sure there are some people who have no problem with tags, but for others who struggle with swelling & sensitivities everywhere, these raised ridges are a significant problem. Maybe others will find a way of covering the seam to be able to use comfortably... I hope the manufacturers change this part of their product, because if not for that irritating tag, I would be buying more pairs, wearing these gloves everyday & raving about their effectiveness.

i bought these gloves in the hopes of getting a bit of arthritis pain relief, and so far, they do seem to help some. i was slightly concerned about getting the right size, as I am quite close to a size change - was worried about the medium being too tight, but a large being too loose - i bought one pair of the medium to try. Received my order yesterday, and tried them on.. my worries about them being too tight were unfounded, the fit perfectly. just enough compression to help with mild swelling, but not so tight that they cut off circulation. wore them to bed (the package does say "...soft enough to sleep in" so figured why not). My hands were not nearly as puffy as they usually are in the mornings - big plus! I do, however, find the fingers to be a bit long & awkward for doing things, as i have short, stubby fingers. I use a trackball that is operated by the first & middle fingers at the computer, and the ends of the fingers make using it awkward - i have to roll back those two fingers to use it comfortably. The fingers of the gloves come all the way down nearly to the back edge of my nail beds - that is how short my fingers are, lol. The product image show the fingers ending just short of the first joint... not on me! Aside from the finger length, i find these gloves to be comfortable and helpful when my hands are aching. I will probably purchase an extra pair or two so I can have a pair to wear if/when I need to wash them.

Not sure if it meant to constrict movements.

Die Handschuhe haben eine gute und nicht zu starke Kompressionswirkung und halten auch etwas warm. Ich bin sehr überzeugt und kann dieses Produkt nur empfehlen!

Bought two pairs of arthritis gloves for my mother. One being expensive (this one) and another cheaper alternative. After wearing less than half a dozen times the stitching has already become undone. They look nice and not sure if I got a bad pair, however I would not recommend these.

Texture très agréable (majorité de coton) . Légère compression sans trop serrer. Pour le choix de la taille se référer au graphique avec les mesures (en inches => remarque pour le vendeur : les mesures en cm seraient appréciées) ce qui permet d'avoir une taille vraiment adaptée. Mitaines efficaces et pas trop épaisses ce qui permet de les enfiler aisément sous une autre paire de gants mais également de les porter jour et nuit, ainsi que pour toutes les activités quotidiennes. J'ai commandé 1 paire pour ma mère et une paire pour moi et finalement j'ai directement effectué une deuxième commande de 2 paires. Très satisfaites de ce produit.

Es un buen producto, se siente alivio al usarlos.
