I've always wanted to try a straight edge/shavette...
I've always wanted to try a straight edge/shavette (currently using a safety razor) and I thought what the heck this straight edge is so cheap I could take a chance and see if it was all I thought it was. The straight edge arrived in perfect working condition and I showed it to my coworkers and one of them decided to order one too, after he saw the build quality. Unfortunately, his arrived defective. I love how close of a shave you get with a shavette. It's night and day when compared to my safety razor which says a lot. So far I've only nicked myself once or twice but I'm starting to get the hang of it. The good news is that I can reuse my safety razor blades in addition to the 50 blades that came with the shaver. I'll probably upgrade to a nice straight edge once this one wears out. Happy shaving!

Very economical alternative to expensive cartridge razors.
This is an incredibly delicate tool. Be aware that if you’re coming from traditional shaving and hoping to use this instead, you’re in for a rough couple shaves... Imagine a butterfly wing touching your face, that’s the type of pressure you’re going to be looking for. Also, learning the correct angle isn’t a walk in the park. Otherwise, this is one of the best shaves you can ever ask for. Also nice you can pick whatever blade you’d like in it, and fine tune for your preferences. One word of advice: when you get it, take a hammer to the hinge pin... it arrives rather loose, and will cause problems if it’s swinging around while you’re trying not to kill yourself shaving with it, haha.

Decent beginners straight edge razor
This is my first straight edge razor and it took some time to get used to but I now have it down packed. The blades are a bit hard to place onto the razor but I got it after a while. The blades are of course very sharp but also not the best; I have cut myself a few times which is normal for beginners. I use this razor to shape up my beard and mustache as it does a great job doing so. The paint has chipped quite easily already but it isn't much of a big deal.

Bought razor back in 2017
5 years later still works like darn new. Last year I decided to buy a black one, but that didn't prove to be a good idea because (different from the silver one I already owned) the black paint started peeling off, which give it an bad look. I'll assume the same apply to all the other colors so.... stick to the silver one, and you'll be fine. Great product, honestly

Extremely sharp and great value
Product is great as it comes with many replacement blades so there's no need to purchase more for a long time. The metal frame is very durable and easy to clean, but do be careful as it is extremely easy to cut yourself while using this razor.

Tweeking yes..For the price? Use common sense and be comfortable with touching blade it's cheap lol
Bought this 2x.. First time it was well.. Not much complaint other than getting loose after 4 or 5 months but it's riveted so who cares lol. The 2nd time.. Well.. About that.. It needed a ton of tweeking to keep the blade from impacting the frame when closing, as to be expected blade exposure is very uneven so heads up ( same with both razors but wayyyy worse on the second one) It takes tweeking to get it right and I'm not changing blades till it gets dull. Other than that it's amazing. It's well worth the 10 or 15 or whatever, just tweek the head a little for right alignment for closing and watch the blade exposure... So u don't screw ur face up lol. I'd buy again but that's because I understand the price point and am comfortable messing with blades and tweeking metal without snapping it

Package lasted me 6 years
This is my second time to buy these. The first set of 100 lasted me 6 years. Certainly the best shave for the cost I've ever heard of. I got a really close shave with these and didn't have razor burn. Took me a second and a youtube video to learn how to hold the razor but great after that. I would certainly recommend

Very effective
I really think this is a great product. It's very inexpensive but works very well due to its simple design and sharp blades. The handle is not what I would call a work of art or even perfe t but it does function precisely how it should and for something as cheap as it is, it's great! If you want to get a low risk trial razor to see if you might one day bite the bullet and buy an expensive razor, this is perfect. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to use a straight razor.

Great product! No B.S, reliable, affordable to maintain, and it does the job. Very old school feel of reliability before things lost integrity.

since its all metale its a little bit on the heavy side you need to be more careful when using cutting your self ,but over all built quality is good.

It’s very good the razer is super sharp so watch and do not try to be fast you will cut yourself even if you are a professional! Overall really good but the only thing is the paint chips off easily
