Was the exact part that I was looking for my Nissan

The part's connector matched the OEM sensor on the 2007 Sentra SL, but an hour after installing it (about 50 miles), the car went into limp mode. I installed the original part and made the rest of the 120 mile trip uneventfully. Since I installed it, I can't return it. This sensor's end (the part that goes into the transmission) is a bit thinner around than the OEM sensor, but I figured 20 years of improvements may have been the reason for that redesign. Or maybe not. I'm at a loss.
