Make sure your pet has plenty of water to drink whenever she’s ready. It saves you the effort of adjusting your schedule to match your pet’s watering habits, and your pet will enjoy the freedom of drinking at her convenience. The PetSafe Healthy Pet Water Station delivers fresh, clean water on demand served in a removable, easy-to-clean stainless steel bowl (stainless steel is the top recommendation by veterinarians for its health and cleanliness). Gravity feeds the water to the bowl from the non-toxic plastic reservoir that locks securely in place to prevent knockover and spills. A flow-control valve fills the bowl as your pet drinks, assuring freshness. Wide openings make cleaning and refilling a breeze. Everything is dishwasher-safe. Perfect for your kitchen, garage, laundry room, or pantry, the Healthy Pet Water Station features a modern look that fits into your home décor. Holds 2.5 gallons of water. For indoor use only. Review: Dogs love it! Easy to fill and clean. Always plenty of fresh water for them. Review: Love the stainless steel tray. Love that you can buy filters for it. Love that it’s easy to wash and easy to fill. Love that I’ve had it since 2020 and it’s still going strong. DON’T love that the unit will become air sealed and not let water down into the tray. From other reviews I’ve read this only happens when you use the filters. I may have found a solution for this issue - there’s a little black flap on the filter (screenshot above). I pulled it off. The unit hasn’t gotten air locked since.

With 3 large dogs & 7 cats this Pet Safe Water Station is excellent. I have 2 inside & during the warmer days, 1 outside. They do hold a lot & are easy to clean. Once in a while you do need to use a little bleach to give a good clean. I do stress a little & make sure to wash with dish soap after & rinse really well, till you no longer smell bleach. Be sure to wash lid & remove blue gasket to clean. Be gentle with gasket.

Would have LOVED it, but way too big, would not fit under filter tap (also bought here). Would have bought the Medium one, as nicest version water station ever, but they do not sell in UK... boo, please think about it

This is a great bowl but mine arrived without any instructions other than an advertisement for the filters and how to install them. Initially I thought it was missing parts like the bowl and a cap that I describe later. I hope this review saves others time and frustration in case yours does not have instructions like mine. The box contains the reservoir on the top and in a false bottom I later discovered, the bowls. I almost returned mine because I thought parts were missing! The top of the reservoir contains a black plastic ring that covers the molded portion of the reservoir itself. Both pieces function as a handle to carry the filled or empty jug and as a way to lock the reservoir in place to the bowl after you refill the bottle. It also allows the top part to lay flat on the floor for refilling or screwing on the filling cap. ASSEMBLY: I have included photos of what the bottom screw on lid looked like on arrival. Note the center bottom hole is open. 1) If you do NOT plan to use the optional charcoal filters, there is a cap sitting on a post that you MUST use to cover this center hole or your reservoir will overfill. I suspect this is the reason some complain of overfilling. As there were no directions, I missed this little cap at first. See the pictures that I provided. This cap sits in a post on the fill cap that is easy to miss. 2) IF you plan to use the filters, these come with black valve that fits into the hole so you MUST put the cap on its post to have it work properly. The filter will not work unless you take this cap off so water can flow through the filter mechanism. FILLING: You cannot fill this from the top as some reviews suggested. It fills from the bottom but it has a cap that screws on the bottom to prevent spilling and leaking while you are carrying or installing the reservoir to the bowl. Water comes out of that spring loaded valve once the reservoir is locked in place. I am older but had no issues carrying the filled reservoir. Even filled, the container was not too heavy. BOWL DEPTH: Some reviews stated their bowls were not sufficiently deep. We have two larger dogs including a 105 lb German Shepherd and at least for the large size we ordered it works for either dog. The bowl is about 3-4 inches deep on the front where they drink so that is more than sufficient for most dogs. WATER FLOW/NOISE: I noticed very little noise while the water flows into the dish. You hear a faint glug but it should not wake one up or be bothersome for most. It does fill somewhat slowly when first filling the bowl from empty but my dogs had no issue getting the water they needed while drinking. Having too small a dish for your dog may cause issues I suppose. Those who report loud glugging sounds may want to check that their center hole cap is secured (if not using a filter). I have not used a filter yet so I cannot comment on sounds it may make with that installed. Sorry for the long review but I hope it solves some issues that others reported and helps those trying to figure it out if there are no instructions in the box like mine.
