This is a varnish not a glue! For me the finish product when using this for decoupage totally outweighs all of the other decoupage mediums. So happy I found it. If you want a good quality finish, stop using glue. It will last sooooo much longer. There are many finishes as well. A Container goes a long way,

I need a quality varnish to seal my decoupaged wood coasters to be resistant to heat and water. This also will protect wood items you want to put outside. Just make sure you read before purchasing can be used for outside. Like this comes in a variety of shines or no shine. It takes a long curing time but when finished this you will be glad you used this. Also Important that when these are stacked in a coaster holder they do not stick together. Easy cleaning brushes. Just wash with soap and water.

Easy to apply and goood coverage.

Matte is invisible on the flat farrow and ball wallpaper behind my counter. Yet I’ve spilled tomato sauce on it and just wiped it off with a damp cloth. Applying is as easy as dusting. No smell. Nothing gross or sticky. Do use multiple coats per instructions. So many products today are so terrible I’m just amazed at how simple this is and how well it works.

It did not discolor my wallpaper at all. You can't tell where the varnish started and stopped. Love the product.

I’ve been refinishing furniture for years and my latest piece I decided to wrap completely with wallpaper but then I was like oh crap how do I protect the top of the dresser? Well I researched and found this top coat that seals and protects wallpaper from water, heat etc. got it yesterday and was amazed how easy it spreads. I used a roller and it was such an easy application. I did about 4 coats on the tops of the dressers and two everywhere else. I figured the top will need extra protection from cups, and whatever else gets placed on top of dressers. I only used about half the bottle. So as I initially thought this product was pricey… after seeing how much I got out of the bottle, I think the price is right. I have yet to see how it holds up by setting coffe mugs or whatever on top of it. But so far I am very pleased with the outcome!

This product is great! I picked a wallpaper that probably would not have held up well around the sink area otherwise. Applied 2 coats & the paper now has a silky feel (not dry, like the plain wallpaper). I did a water test on my sample piece- brushed it with water and left it for one minute, then dried it. The area without the sealer had marks left on it, but the sealed wallpaper (1 coat) was unmarked. I was looking for a subtle/satin overall look and was considering the next sheen up from dead flat, but chose the flat based on a few reviews. So glad I did! The look I was going for was exactly what the dead flat provided. I showed that in the photos on my sample paper and you can see the reflectivity from the light when the wall was completely finished. I didn’t even know products like this existed, but I couldn’t be happier and I would highly recommend it!

Used on recommendation for sealing chalk paint on my first upcycle project. Had been disappointed with the paint I’d used and read reviews on the furniture wax from the same brand so I purchased this. Very glad I did. It’s a very good, economical and easy to use paint sealer. Goes on like a dream but it is quite runny so don’t overload your brush. Need to work quickly and decisively to avoid slight brush strokes visible but be weary it can drip so suggest you check this as you work. Dries very quickly. As for durability, I can’t comment yet. Would definitely recommend and buy again as it can be used on all manner of surfaces. No wastage. No smell. Water based so easy to clean brushes. Win win product!

Barniz caro en comparación con otros pero el resutlado merece la pena. Deja la pintura muy aislada, haciendo que sea fácil limpiar el mueble. Lo he utilizado sobre chalk paint blanca y no amarillea. Recomendable.

I used this product on a wallpapering job that I've done for a client to protect the wallpaper in the bathroom. It worked well with 2 coats and 3 coats on some parts where water would get to it. The wallpaper wasn't the vinyl type.
