I have this on a kasa smart outlet set to a timer and has run with zero issues. Would recommend using glycerin in the bubble counter vs water. Two reasons for this, you dont have to top the glycerin off as it does not evaporate, and two its easier to count your bubbles and fine tune it, added bonus it looks cool.
