How would this bag be for shooting trap? Would this bag be able to hold 4 boxes of shotgun shells?

Yes with ease Rob. Assuming that you're referring to a box of 25 shells. This bag has plenty of room in the center pouch with two adjustable foam padded dividers that are secure by velcro.

Will the light duty fit the Glock case that comes with your handgun?

I purchased the LARGER size Osage Bag, and returned it for another color. This larger size which is 18 inches WILL fit your GLOCK case. When I returned the Bag for the other color, I accidently ordered the smaller Light Duty case. The Light Duty works for my Glock/Holster ONLY. I would recommend the LARGER 18 bag. Hope this helps.

Will the small bag fit 1 pistol at large set of ear muffs and a large safety glass case?

Easily. I've had 3 handguns, ammo, large ear muffs, safety glasses, and much more in the small bag atthe same time. I also have the large bag which has the exact same design. I much prefer the small bag. The large bag has the same number of compartments which are actually too big; handguns get "swallowed up" and aren't securely in place because of so much extra space. I believe they should have divided the large bag into more compartments.

All of the zippers are lockable. I use small diameter combination locks. If you get "set your own combination" locks, each locked zipper can have the same combination.
