My son absolutely loved this book when he borrowed it from our public library and so I decided to get him his own copy to enjoy. This is an amazingly adorable book that teaches a lot of Hawaiian words to the child hearing the story.  After a few reads which will definitely happen because kids love to read their favorite book over and over and over again.  My husband and I got married in Hawaii and wanted a collection of Hawaiian children books to entertain nieces and nephews when they visit our Hawaiian themed home.  Illustrations and story are fantastic.
