Peppermint Cream (Amazon 6-Pack) - British. Best By Date Reads As: DAY/MONTH/YEAR On All Food Products

I live in Hawaii and a lot of things arrive in bad shape but these were fresh and perfect. The taste reminds me of junior mints if they were made as a candy bar. Most of the time when I get something like this the texture isn’t right- the chocolate is too thick or it doesn’t melt into the mint cream as you’re eating it, but this is just the right balance of sweet peppermint cream to dark chocolate. The chocolate at the ends of the bar are also a little thicker for stability. All in all, yum.

The original and still the best. A fancy English candy that makes the perfect gift.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I just heard about in a book I read.

Kind of expensive but so worth it as a special treat! I found these in the United Kingdom this fall and fell in love with them!

This was one of my favourites when I was a child and I decided to try it again now, many years later. Overall, I enjoyed it, but perhaps ageing has made me more critical. Now, I find it almost over rich and sugary; the entire bar in one go had me feeling I had over indulged. Perhaps there was a problem in delivery or packaging, but on opening, the chocolate bar was stuck to the protective covering making it difficult and messy to get at. Not quite as I remember it, but if you like peppermint, it is still worthwhile.

They came quickly..nicely wrapped..very pleased.

I’ve loved this chocolate bar for many years. The only drawback is that it arrived in my mailbox when my outside temperature was 103F (39C) needless to say they were melted and not nice in appearance any longer. Shipper needs to include chill packs when temperatures are that high at the final destination. I paid for perfect candy bars (sweets) not lumps of chocolate and green goo! Don’t buy this item in October in The Southwest part of the North American Continent.

I bought some of these while I was visiting a British exports store about an hour away from where I live and they were delicious, the inside was creamy and fresh. When I bought them off Amazon the inside was hard and unpleasant. The flavor was still fine but knowing how good these can be made me disappointed with what I ended up with when ordering here.
