Being outside and a gardener they also get knocked about and dirty. But first four have lasted me two years, i think angle grinder it drains to fast. But for impact, combi drills they are excellent! One just died (wouldnt charge) i broke the casing so it could have been my fault. 2 years is good enough for Β£25. Hope the upgraded ones last just as long! I might buy a dewalt 5ah just to compare, but as someone has kindly tested them on here dont think i need to. Cheers!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good but not the longevity of Dewalt *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 3 March 2025* I feel this will give an overall view as I'm 2 years down the line with them. (Bought 29 Mar 2023). I've used these the same as my original 2 x dewalt 4ah batteries. I've only used these on Dewalt drills and screwdrivers, also using only dewalt charger. I'm a keen DIY'er not a professional so don't hammer my equipment or use it every day.Initially very good. Not quite as good as the DW4ah but still excellent value for money. Over time they discharged quicker and now I have one that won't charge and one that only charges to 3 bars so suspect it will give up soon too. ## Frequently Bought Together - 2 Pack Waitley 18V 5.0A DCB184 Replacement Battery Compatible with Dewalt 18V Series Cordless Power Tools… - ASUNCELL Battery Charger Compatible with 12V-20V MAX Li-ion Battery, 3.0A Dual Port Fast Charger Compatible with DCB Series Tools Lithium Battery 18V, with double 2.1A USB Ports --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.is/products/332964709-2x-waitley-18v-5-0ah-battery-for-dewalt-battery-18v](https://www.desertcart.is/products/332964709-2x-waitley-18v-5-0ah-battery-for-dewalt-battery-18v) --- *Product available on Desertcart Iceland* *Store origin: IS* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
