I love the way this fits in my car and doesn't block air vents. It makes my phone easy to see when I am use the map app. My son wants one for his car if they make one.

I originally bought this about 4 years ago and it broke so I replaced it with the same item.this is not nearly as nice as before. It’s much more cheaply made and feels super lightweight. I like how it fits my car but I don’t have high hopes for it.

Don’t buy this item, it is made of cheap plastic and mine came defective already!

The pros are that it fits perfectly between the CX-5 (2020) air vents and does not interfere with the vents or the hazard switch.The cons are the brackets are to narrow for a phone with a case. The brackets need to be forced to hold the phone in place. The bottom bracket should be a little wider as the USB cable just fit.Did have an issue the "shock absorbers" coming loose, I had to glue them in.Added on 2/22,The brackets will not work with a thicker case, not even forcing them would they hold the phone. A small redesign making the brackets wider make make this a very good mount . I solved the phone mount issue by changing the phone mount to a universal type, while utilizing the dash mount.
