Wonderful trick book!
This is a really well written debut training book from Sara Carson. I own quite a few trick books & all of my dogs have earned trick dog titles & championships. This book will be one of my favorite resources that I recommend to others. Sara provides some very good foundational training tips before even starting the tricks. Then the tricks are very clearly divided by difficulty ranging from beginner tricks to expert crowd pleasing tricks and each trick is described with straight forward steps plus tips to troubleshoot common challenges. There’s something in this book for every level - from the pet parent who is a beginner trainer to the handler that wants to perform in front of crowds. But my favorite part of the book are the photographs - they’re beautiful photos of The Super Collies showing off what they do best with a smiling Sara who so clearly adores working with her talented dogs. Tricks Made Easy with Simple Step By Step Instructions
I have been a dog trainer for 30 years and this book is an amazing resource for both trainers and anyone who loves their dog and wants to build a relationship with them using positive methods. Sara breaks down each trick into easy to follow steps accompanied by beautiful photos so you have a visual guide as well. Everything is also taught using positive methods which is the best way to build a strong bond between you and your pet. There are simple tricks and more complex tricks so you have plenty of options to find activities that work for you and your dog no matter the age, breed or size of dog you have. I am getting more copies to give to some of my clients and recommending it to everyone! If you have a dog, get this book!

A "must have" dog trick book, for beginners to advanced dogs and people!!!
Just received my copy of Super Dog Tricks. I have a lot of dog trick books already, so wasn't sure if I needed it. But I'm glad I bought it! It is very well done, very clear, great photos that help in every step, and I especially love that each trick has a trouble shooting section. And there are a lot of tricks in this book that I have not seen spelled out before, like teaching your dog to hug an object... adorable! Looking forward to teaching my dogs a lot of new tricks!!!

More than tricks
This book is about building a lifestyle of efficient communication with your dog! Amazing trick variety as well as a plethora of useful information in building a solid relationship with your dog. Clear verbiage, concise information. Stunning photography! Easy to navigate and use. Love the Puppr App as well! Highly recommended!

Helpful book to teach your dog tricks with instructions photos and troubleshooting. I had my pup doing “cross paws” in one short session. Makes daily trick learning a goal.

Great book for all levels of training
Overall love the book! It's very well made, organized, and visually appealing. For me personally, the last section of freestyle advice is the most useful, because I have been training tricks for my dogs but recently was wondering how to make a freestyle routine out of them, and this book is very helpful for that! Also for regular tricks, I can see a different point of view on how to train them. It's great that it's sorted by category and difficulty. A few notes that could be improved: 1. At the beginning Sara talks a lot about how kibble should be used for training. all this advice is not applicable for me because I feed raw food (as I'm sure many others), would be nice to hear what is suggested alternative for raw feeders. 2. I had an impression that this is Positive reinforcement training only, I was confused why for leash walking slip lead should be used - it wasn't explained why. 3. For some jumping tricks I think it would be great to add a disclaimer that it's not for all dogs, for example, dogs under 18 months shouldn't do it or should be more careful with them. All these are minor things of course. I love the book and I love to follow Sara and the Super collies!

Love this book, ordered it as well for myself and for my sister-in-law. All the cool tricks, and many great basic tips too for training your pupper. Sarah and her Super Dogs, are amazing! Love them all so much.
