I wasn't wild about the included band, I didn't like how cumbersome it was to take off. It's not a Garmin Fenix, it's not going to last a few weeks; it's a couple days. Mine wasn't breaking in so I turned to Spigen, who I've used for years for a variety of phone and watch cases. Saw this particular one on Twitter from a mutual friend and they raved about its construction and feel on wrist. Nobody else seemed to have a decent option so I went with the DuraPro Flex and for the first 6 months, great purchase. Fast forward to April (its currently late July) and that's when I started having issues. My main issue is that the buckle that secures the watch that is started to peel its protective coating and i've developed some sort of rash right where the brace to hold the bottom of the watch down to the rest of the strap. It's only that specific spot, nowhere else. I clean the band once a week with warm soapy water, I clean my wrist daily. This is the only watch band to do this to me, Apple Watch or not. It's gotten progressively worse so I have to switch the band out. It's unfortunate because I like the look and the adjustability is the best I've ever had on a watch band, Apple Watch or not. I may do a year revisit after i've tried out the new bands I've ordered and also may see if Spigen would be willing to send me a replacement for this. The slight irony is I've had one of their magsafe cases and magsafe chargers for a year longer than I've had this band and they perform flawlessly. So I have to assume I got a defective unit.
