No they aren’t tapered. They exact fit for my dual tandem bumper hitch trailer I haul 6-8 900 pound bales of hay on it for my horses. They have work perfect still going strong.

Did anyone have trouble with rubber on seals when you tap them down flush with the inner bearing side?? The rubber deformed as I tapped flush
