I'm not sure what I expected.
It does taste like hot peanut oil on your first sip, with a grape jelly aftertaste. If that sounds unappealing, I sure thought it was. Bones coffee isn't cheap so if you don't care for it, that's a fair bit of dosh down the drain (literally?). You can't know if you like it until you try it for yourself though. I recommend the smaller sampler size from their website.

This really deserves no stars!!
What a waste of money. This coffee taste nothing nothing nothing like peanut butter and jelly even upon opening the bag!! The taste and smell is bitter. Regular black coffee would be better. This is disgusting and I can’t return it. If I got a bad batch then I need another or my money back or else this is very sad excuse for a company to be selling this coffee. Truly disappointed.all I’m trying to buy is nice flavored coffee but it’s like if u don’t buy it by a known brand name you’re never going to get what u want feom Bones coffee!
