Q: How much xylitol does a single piece of gum contain?

1 gram per piece, though the gum base used in Pur gum, like most chewing gum, is polyvinyl acetate (plastic), while Epic uses natural chicle. I don't see titanium dioxide listed as an ingredient in Epic gum, unless that's a "natural flavoring," but still, people go out of their way to avoid just eating/drinking from plastic containers and then end up chewing plastic unknowingly when having a piece of gum! No thanks!

Q: Is the Pur Gum, Peppermint, made from corn or from birch?

PUR Gum is 100% corn-free. The xylitol we use is derived from sustainably grown birch and beech trees in Europe. PUR Mints, however, are made with a corn derivative, maize dextrin. And all of our products are made in Switzerland, and are certified non-GMO!

From a review (not mine): "Our gum base is not all-natural, but it is the highest quality of synthetic gum base on the market - it is sourced from Europe and made with the highest quality which means it will never breakdown or end up in your digestive system! The only ingredients ingested from our gum, is all-natural flavors and sweeteners.
