FR-1.3 Freewheel Remover

Did what it was intended to do. All you need is a 1” socket or a good crescent wrench and a steel pipe for leverage.

I run a small bicycle repair business so a freewheel tool is a must have tool for me. For awhile I used a cheap tool that I only paid a couple bucks for but over time everything wore out. The wrench face started to get rounded out and the splines would not hold as well as they should. That's when I decided it was time to buy the Park Tool version. I own plenty of Park Tool products so I have come to expect amazing quality from them. This tool did not disappoint. I have not used it very long yet but I can already tell that it is far better than all of the tools I have used in the past. The wrench face fits a normal 1 inch socket like my Park Tool cassette tools which is a huge help also. That makes it so I can just use a breaker bar for those really tight freewheels. There's not much else to say about this product. It gets the job done just as you would expect a tool from Park to. At such a low price this is an amazing tool that any bicycle mechanic should have. Spend the extra money and get this instead of one of the cheap unbranded ones and you will be happy you did.

Excellent to replace and install the freewheel in a bike

Fits perfectly on almost any freewheel, even my random no-name one that came on an old Walmart bike. Additionally, the hex shaped head of the tool makes it easy to use with a wrench.

Had to remove a stuck freewheel from an old bike. This tool seems to be the ‘benchmark’ for removing freewheels, and for good reason, A world of difference between this and other cheaper Chinese imitations. The other ones all have soft steel, which deforms and slips once pressure is applied. Save yourself money and time - buy this one.

Ich habe einen Radnabenmotor am Hinterrad und den typischen 7-fach Schraubkranz (so wie bei sehr vielen günstigen E-Bikes oder E-Bike Kits. Ich wollte den gegen ein 9-Fach Schraubkranz tauschen. Leider ist die Radachse so dick und so lang, dass ein normaler Abzieher nicht drauf passt bzw. nicht greift. Man müsste einen herkömmlichen Abzieher also entweder umständlich aufbohren oder man nimmt einfach diesen hier, denn der passt perfekt!
