California Costumes Women's Mythic Mermaid

For a costume, I thought it was good quality. If you take a steamer to the green frilly part it makes the tail look much nicer. I wear between a 10-12 so I got the Large and the bottom fit perfectly. The fabric is kinda stretchy too. The top was ok. As the others state there is absolutely no support. It can easily become untied. I actually wore a different top with my bottom. But overall I thought it was a great costume and I was happy I made my purchase.

Good fit. Good stretch. I ordered a large since there was no XL. It took a little wiggling to get in and out of the skirt but the stretch was good and it fit comfortably. The top can be worn a few different ways. I liked mine better with the string around my neck and the wide part tied around my back. Also, the top was a little plain so I blinged it out with rhinestones. I used my own flower hair clip. Overall I loved it. It was a fun costume.

I ordered this item in a small ( I am 5'1 and 110 pounds), it fits great around my waist but the length is a little longer. The tail has a lot of glitter on it so I would open it outside. I made the mistake of opening it the house and glitter went everywhere. The top is really disappointing and the starfish flip came broken. Overall, I'll make the costume work because I need it for Halloween and I don't have time to send this back and purchase a new one. If you just need the costume for the tail and think you can fit in the measurements, I think it was worth it for the price of a legit looking tail.

I bought this for a costume party, size extra small. I am 5’2” and weigh around 100 pounds. Fit very well. I had to hold it up when walking but that is expected. Otherwise it fit well. I didn’t care for the top so I looked and looked and found a cute one, from Amazon - “PrettyGuide Women's Shimmer Glam Sequin Embellished Sparkle Tank Top Vest Tops”. I bought the top in a medium, which is larger than I normally would. After reading reviews I found they run small and the medium fit perfectly. Made for a very cute/sexy costume.

This costume is probably one of the cheapest quality costumes I have ever purchased. It did not fit well and the entire bottom portion of the skirt was a scratchy stiff and wrinkled netting. The worst part is it was full of glitter that just falls off all over the place. They would not take it back for a return either. The top is a thin fabric with no lining at all. Overall very disappointed.

The waist was just a tad too big, but otherwise, it fit perfect! I thought it was a little cheesy, but I got so many compliments on it that night! I was finally the mermaid I always wanted to be :-)

I only purchased this costume with the intent to use the skirt since the one I originally wanted ended up selling out. The skirt worked well for my halloween costume and matched the top I made very well. The skirt was a tad bit long on me (I'm 5'5", 140lbs, and I got a M), but it wasn't horrible. Even though I didn't wear the top it came with, the pictures of it seem a bit deceiving as it looks like there are little gem stones on it, but really, they're just screen printed on the top. If I was using the top, I'd probably be pretty disappointed with this, but I never intended to use it anyway. All in all, it wasn't a bad costume and it worked for what I wanted it for.

I absolutly loooooooove this costume. The glitter on the tail and the seaweed belt keeps falling off amf getting everywhere, but other than that, i think its really cute. It even came with the starfish pin and flower pin. I really like the fact that you can wear the top however you please. You can adjust the top to show more cleavage and tummy or adjust it to show less cleavage and tummy. I can't wait to wear this at the Halloween bash!!!

Purtroppo è arrivato danneggiato/scolorito sulla coda... per il resto direi che va bene anche se lascia una quantità di eccessiva di glitter addosso ed in giro. Sicuramente per essere un costume a maschera va bene, anche se la qualità poteva essere migliore. Diciamo che per quello che costa c’era da immaginarselo.
