Warranty is 10 lifetimes long so who knows
Work great with the right burner. Should last the family for many years. Great way to preserve pictures for millenia. Expensive but it doesn't degrade for 1000 years so you won't need many to pass down for generations. Highly recommend product and seller.

Poorly designed packaging
Who, in their right mind, places a 1000 year storage disc in a cardboard folder that won't stay closed—as this company has. The disc sits in a topless plastic container, which is glued to a cardboard folder that, once opened, will not-stay-closed, and so, provides no dust protection over its claimed 1000 year lifespan. The Amazon page called it a jewel box, which it is most definitely not. The folder is a gaudy self-promoting thing that makes no provision, or room for the name of the disc, either on the front or back cover. And even inside the folder there is no defined spot for a label. The disc is the same color front and back, and has no label to indicate which is the side to be recorded. Nor is there a defined spot to label the dosc contents (which would, also identify the top and bottom sides). This disc set was ordered as a fourteenth birthday gift, to record a charming young lady's first starring role in a professional musical, with the goal of allowing her to show it to her children and grandchildren. But to do that, two days from today, I will either have to have purchased a real jewel box, or, present it wrapped in a rubber band to hold it closed. Will the disc last, as claimed? No way to tell but to wait. But...based on the thought that went into the packaging, I have no confidence in that happening.
