This happens due to substandard materials and malfunctioning pressure relief valves. Mine split across the top about 20” and had it not been for my backyard Ring Camera I may have had an empty pool that’s about 28,000 gallons. These units have a long history of poor quality and failing structurally. A $700 piece e of junk that could cost you thousands in so many ways.
