Review: First and best SAS Book - Extremely easy steps makes the first book to read and code with running examples. Best Book as a starter Book. Review: Decent so far but where is the downloadable data? - Hmm, interesting book, I am a few chapters in, mostly introduction to clinical trials and SAS. It looks like we are expected to type in the data sets from the page, not available for download? I my try to get a soft copy and then lift from the screen but these days I would have expected the datasets to be available for download. -Gary

Being a life science graduate with no prior knowledge of programming, I felt this book is perfect for me to understand the SAS programming aspects. Both programming and the clinical research aspects are well explained in simple words. To get started, this book will be helpful.

Useless garbage book
This book is useless. In chapter 3, there are 11 data sets that seem to mimic a real world clinical trial project. But these data are not used in the later chapters for illustration of practice. The table of contents looks good, and at first glance, seems to teach basic steps in clinical programming - which belies the worthless book and cheats me into buying it. Poorly organized, little connection between chapters, no online access to data and codes for readers to replicate the examples, to name a few. I strong DISCOURAGE you to expend money and time on this useless garbage book.

Tolles Buch
Ein MUST-HAVE.

Great for the price.
Great introduction for the price, I work with SAS for clinical trials and this has been very useful as more companies gear towards SAS and CDISC.
