Great quality, nice doors and handles... Fantastic value
This is a quality cabinet! Utility cabinets in this category aren't usually the most glamorous pieces of furniture, but this is the best quality one I've ever bought. I've had ones from Home Depot and other outlets, including some similar things from Ikea, but this cabinet is made better than any of them. The box it arrives in is hideously heavy... UPS has it listed at 121 lbs and the product description says 126 lbs. Just know that no matter how strong you are, lugging this somewhere without a dolly is going to be difficult to do alone. The parts were well packaged and there was no damage to any of them, but one of the doors arrived with glue all over it. It must have been a manufacturing defect that nobody noticed. I contacted the manufacturer and they are shipping me a new one free of charge. Fast, no-hassle service. Assembly took about 35 minutes with a power drill and I did it alone. The instructions are simple to follow and assembly was easy. You'll need a Phillips head screwdriver, and a hammer to nail the back on. The cabinet is pretty sturdy and I have no worries that it will hold the great deal of items I will be storing in it. Two shelves are adjustable. The doors have 6-way adjustable hinges, which helped me eliminated the gap that originally appeared between the two doors. They will also help you make sure there is a tight seal between the doors and cabinet and so the doors are on straight. I like the metal door handles, which look much nicer than the plastic handles that come with most other utility cabinets. The doors have rounded edges, giving it a less utility-like feel to them. I also ordered the top cabinets for extra storage space. I'm glad I found this cabinet, and at a better price than lesser-quality ones at Home Depot.

Buy this cabinet! You won't regret it!
This cabinet is perfect! I'm creating a DIY dressing room and don't want to spend thousands on components. Found this as a solution for the shelving and bought two. This is very easy to assemble. I'm a 55 year old woman and I did it alone with a hammer, screwdriver and a drill (with a phillips head bit). The problem that other users report with the gap between the doors is easily eliminated with an adjustment of the hinges. The instructions clearly describe how to close the gap. My cabinets had a quarter to half inch gap when I first assembled it but a few turns of the adjustment screw and the gap disappeared. The doors fit perfectly. I love this cabinet because the shelves are deep and the piece is very sturdy. The finish on the door front with the silver handles make it an attractive piece as well as functional. All of the cuts and the pilot holes were perfectly machined. Everything is square and all of the holes lined up. You will need to mark a straight edge across the back to know where to nail the cabinet backing onto the middle fixed shelf but otherwise, the instructions are complete and easy to follow. If you need a cabinet, buy this one. Its a breeze to assemble.

Doors close well, assembly fast, minor scratches
I was able to assemble this cabinet in less than an hour with the help of my four-year-old. My four-year-old absolutely made this go slower than it should have so take that as you will. The unit is well made for the price and looks clean. We will be using it for garage storage. As far as the doors go there aren't any issues whatsoever. All of the reviews that talk about gaps between the doors are clearly due to the fact that people did not read the instructions in which it states that the hinges are six way adjustable. My doors also had a 1-inch gap between them when I first assembled it but by looking at page 8 of the instructions it clearly shows you how to easily adjust the doors. In less than 2 minutes I was able to unscrew for screws and get my doors perfectly lined up. I included a picture of this page just to prove to everyone that it doesn't facts tell you how to adjust it and it does in fact work. I know there was someone on here that reviewed these cabinets lower because they've came damaged which I understand but also because she had hired someone to assemble the cabinets and they all had gaps. I hate to say it but the people probably didn't really know what they were doing and didn't take the time to read the instructions and play with it for about two whole minutes to get the doors right. That's just a shame. There are even reminders throughout the instruction manual that they have videos online on how to adjust hinges and product support. I really don't think they could have made it any more idiot-proof but maybe that's just the way that I look at it! If you have this cabinet and your doors have a gap take a look at the picture that I posted with the instruction manual and make a few adjustments and you will be happy. I would give this 5 stars for the money and the construction and the ease of the project however there were some small scratches along the edges of the doors out of the box. I'm a little concerned about how well this will stand up but to be honest it is particle board and I'm sure I could easily touch it up with some paint. If it came with door bumpers so that they didn't make that loud clacking noise when they closed and a little touch up paint I would give this 5 stars. I did use a electric drill just to speed up the process of screwing in the screws and then when I got to the end I hand tighten them to make sure that they weren't over torqued or stripped. I'm a skinny girl with my own toolbox and was able to build this in my kitchen very easily. It will be harder for me to figure out how to get it into the garage then the actual assembly was. The box was in fact very heavy and awkward so be very careful laying it down and trying to open it up. I had zero damage on the corners no broken pieces on all of my Hardware was included including a piece of paper that reminded you to stop and look inside the foam for the extra Hardware. For $150 for a tall clean cabinet I think this is a great value. And I cannot stress enough the need to read the instructions when it comes to the door hardware. They are kind of confusing as are all cabinet door hinges. But the instructions make it very easy to understand to loosen one screw and tighten another and boom your doors go exactly where you want them to go. The reviewers that give this item lower ratings because they were unable to read and follow the instructions is kind of unfair in my opinion. I would say that I am somewhat mechanically inclined however I am a female and a mom and I don't go around building things for a living and I was able to figure this out very easily and quickly. It honestly took me more time to figure out how to get it inside the house from where they delivered it at my front door and how to unpack it without killing myself because it's very heavy than it did to actually assemble the whole thing.

Worth the money & easy to assemble--once it arrived!
This is cabinet is incredibly easy to assemble and seems to be of much higher quality that the MDF items I've purchased in the past; however, given the price of this unit, one would expect higher quality. The hardware is quite nice and the kick plate sits flush to floor. For assembly, it took two of us about 40 minutes to unpack it and put it together (we were very happy to see the manufacturer's note that warned us not to throw away the foam for shipping until we had retrieved the hardware). I recommend that you do not attach the doors until you've positioned the cabinet exactly where you want it--leaving the doors off made it very easy for us to move the unit from the air conditioned foyer to the garage. The only drawback with our order was that UPS lost the cabinet (?!). After tracking the order and seeing absolutely no movement in their Hodgkin site for two days (despite UPS noting that it would arrive on time), I called UPS and a rude employee noted that she could not do anything to help me and referred me to Amazon. We've never had a problem with Amazon orders before, so it was good to learn that Amazon wants you to call their customer service reps instead of the carrier's when dealing with lost item claims. Once I was connected with an Amazon representative, all was well. Unlike the UPS rep, the Amazon rep took great pains to apologize for the inconvenience and assured us we would have our replacement in the same timeframe as our previous order. Although it took almost two weeks for the cabinet to arrive, when it did, it was in excellent condition (despite a dented corner in the outer cardboard box). I'm glad Amazon trains their reps to be courteous and helpful!

This is one Helluva Cabinet! I need to order like 3 more of these, and achieve organization perfection
I really wanted a black storage cabinet, but after realizing that all of the black storage cabinets available are flimsy, I decided to get this one and paint it black. This is one sturdy cabinet! It arrived in a big, heavy package, and I had to help the UPS driver get it off her truck. Rather than try to carry it up my driveway, I took a boxcutter and opened it right on my lawn, then carried it up a few pieces at a time. The directions are super-easy to follow, and I decided that it would be fun to complicate things by building a platform on wheels, upon which to erect this mighty cabinet. My husband cussed up a storm, but successfully completed both the platform on wheels and the cabinet assembly in a single afternoon. I would have done it myself, but he commandeered the project under the guise of "helping". Works every time! Seriously, I don't know how we ever managed to live without this cabinet. It holds a ton of stuff, and it looks fantastic! In fact, it looked great in white, with its nice modern handles, so I decided to hold off on the painting. I did, however, add two more shelves, just because I could. This was incredibly easy - I took one of the shelves to my local big orange box store, and had the guy in lumber cut me two more pieces of the shelf material to the exact same size. This was so cheap I thought they must have miscalculated the price, and I got to keep the uncut leftover piece for my next project, a linen closet with adjustable shelves. I bought a little package of shelf peg thingies there, too. Now, the holes for the shelf peg thingies don't go all the way up and down inside the entire cabinet, which means you are slightly limited in your shelf placement, unless you decide to drill more holes. However, it worked out perfectly for me -- I moved both of the movable shelves and their pegs to the highest position, and added my extra shelves and pegs to the lowest positions, which created two extra "mini-shelves" tall enough for cans of soup, boxes of jello, skillets, etc. The four "tall" shelves are plenty tall enough for everything tall, or everything medium, stacked double. Plus, the very top of the cabinet is like another shelf. The total amount of storage space is stunning. I want to get at least three more of these, for the garage, the laundry room, and the extra bedroom where we put assorted items we don't know where to put. "A place for everything, and everything in its place" might actually happen! I can't think of a single negative about this cabinet. If I had to come up with something negative, just so you know it's a real review from a genuine human cabinet consumer, not some fake one written by someone getting paid one-half an American dollar to write fake reviews, it would be that the packaging material is unbelievably sturdy. Seriously, I went through like four blades on my husband's boxcutter thingie, cutting up the packaging material so I could bag it up for the trash guys. In hindsight, I should have removed the shipping labels and put it out by the curb with a big sign, "Hey kids! FREE Clubhouse! FREE Fort!"

Storage Cabinet
The pros: 1. Solid laminated pressed wood pieces. (weighs over 70lbs!) 2. Assebling the main unit was a breeze 3. Unit came well wrap in book so no destruction of any item occured 4. Deep shelves 5. Free super shipping 6. Adjustable shelves The cons: 1. Attaching the doors was a pain.It comes with a fancy latch system however it is very hard to work with them. The screws are easy to strip with a power tool. The alignment of the door was difficult to get. In the end I had to get my handy man to put in the door. 2. The price of the unit is steep for what I got. Its not very tall. Also its rickety once it is assembled. I have to put something under the unit so it will be stable. 3. The backboard had no nail mark so it was a guess work where to nail them. Also the nails were flimsy which bended easily. It will make a great unit to store items in. However if you are not skilled in tools it be best to find someone who is to master this beast! The deep shelves makes it nice to store alot more stuff.

Great quality cabinets and affordable!
We had purchased two of these for our garage. First one over a year ago and another one back in the Spring of this year. Loved them so much - we decided we needed another! Totally happy with these cabinets. Good quality - not flimsy - and easy enough for my husband to put together. If we had more room in our garage, we'd buy more! Great storage and modern looking with the door handle! Totally recommend!

Do you like a flimsy, expensive cabinet w/engineering flaws? Then this is for you!
I looked at this cabinet for a few weeks before I decided to purchase it. I went through and read all the reviews from 1 star to 5 stars and saw that a majority of the reviews were positive, so I finally purchased it. I was so excited because our new house didn’t have much storage and I was planning on using this as a hallway cabinet to hold our bath towels and other stuff. Here’s the only PRO I can give you: I love the color and it didn’t take long to assemble it. That’s it. CONS: You might want to pour a drink before you read the list of CONS. I can’t believe there’s a company that actually manufactures this crap. Since it didn’t take us long to assemble it, that means it didn’t take us long to become disappointed. You would think something that weighs 104 pounds would be sturdy, right? Wrong. Not only that, you can easily sway the cabinet (once it’s assembled) left or right, meaning it is not sturdy at all. If we had kids, we would’ve either tried to return it or put it in the fire pit. That’s how bad it is. Oh, if you’re not good with anything other than pictorial directions, you’ll be screwed. No one within the company that designs this product thought it would be pertinent to actually label the shelves, so you’re on your own on figuring out which shelf goes where. It gets better…. Another big engineering flaw: the cabinet doors that open and close are so heavy that you have to anchor it to the wall because as soon as you open the doors, it tilts forward. If you have small children that like to climb stuff, do NOT purchase this product. This is the first piece of furniture we’ve had to anchor in our home and we have 2 huge hutches that we have no worries with. Ridiculous. After we followed the directions, the end product showed outside doors that didn’t line up—the right door is higher than the left one. The only way to fix this is to re-drill more holes in one of the doors which would be a total pain. Here’s another flaw: after all of this, the shelf supports (that you can move up and down so you can place the shelf) are PLASTIC…not metal. This means if one of them breaks, you’re SOL or you need to go to your local hardware store and hope they have the same size shelf support. BOTTOM LINE: if you’re placing this cabinet somewhere where it doesn’t matter what it looks like (garage, laundry room, attic), you'll be fine. But if you’re looking for a piece of furniture that has competent directions, strong, with doors that should align, then you’re going to be disappointed. I will never buy anything from this company again. Lesson learned.

Perfect !
I bought this for my kitchen . I like to keep my things very organized and this does the job . it is not that hard to assemble .it took a couple hours for us to read the manual and to put them together . The only one thing I didn't like is the back side of the cabinet which is thin sheet of plywood which has to be nailed with a hammer . everything else is screws in the cabinet which is a good thing. This cabinet is also good looking, sturdy and perfect for my little kitchen . The price is little bit on the higer side ($170) but apart from that I am happy with my purchase.
