Michelangelo. The Complete Works. Paintings, Sculptures, Architecture (Fantastic Price)

I do love Taschen's Art books, but this is their masterpiece! I have taught Art History and this is now my main reference source. The images and binding are beautiful and I truly loved all the detailed close ups of his most famous sculptures, paintings and architectural designs.

Great work. If you want to know about Michelangelo, get this one. Worth the cost.

Great huge book, amazing print, great quality paper. I gifted it to my daughter who is an artist and she was exited. I cant imagine it to be any better!

Excellent book with well-written text. You can’t go wrong with Zollner and Taschen. My only complaint is the complete and total exclusion of any mention of the Torment of Saint Anthony painting (Kimbell Museum). Even if it’s disputed (which most today are considering it autograph), it at least deserves a mention! I would have also liked some more angles of the sculptures. Still absolutely worth a buy, though!

Beautiful book! The quality is outstanding and the illustrations are amazing. The history and information about both the artist and works of art are informative and well written.

after our trip to rome this was a nice flashback to relive the trip

QUE LIVRO BELÍSSIMO!!Eu estou TÃO feliz em tê-lo recebido!!Para os apreciadores das obras do Michelangelo é um Must Have!!Infelizmente não é possível fazer um review melhor por causa da censura das obras. Ou seja, não dá para mostrar páginas específicas do livro.Estava com muito receio de vir danificado, pois veio dos Estados Unidos , mas graças à Deus veio apenas com uma pontinha amassada, quase que imperceptível.Meu sonho era ter a versão XXL, mas este tamanho XL me impressionou!!! Tenho a versão pequenininha que também é muito linda!Há muitas páginas que você pode abrir para ter um Overview , muitas imagens de tirar o fôlego, algumas páginas em dourado que dão um efeito majestoso. Texto incrível!E o livro é enorme pessoalmente!! Tem quase 4 quilos.Vale à pena o investimento! Todos os dias sinto vontade de apreciar as obras!É um livro para passar de geração em geração!!

What a mavellous book, be warned, it is very heavy big book Everything about is wonderful and I wouldn't be without it.

Book is well worth buying but if you want it to arrive in good condition look elsewhere.Once again, spent a lot of money on a book at Amazon AU and it's put in a box that's too big with zero protection around it and gets damaged.Paid for quick delivery which used to reduce the chance of damage but not anymore.Delivery drivers don't pay attention to the arrows on the boxes and leave them on their side which will only create more damage if the books aren't well packed.Publishers produce excellent quality books only for them to be damaged on delivery. What a waste of resources.As usual, no way to leave feedback about the poor packaging unless you return the product. Even then nothing changes. What's happened, Amazon?

boek is ok enkel door slechte verpakking,veel te dun voor zo een groot boek,daardoor gescheurd en hoek van boek beschadigd!!
