Seemed to work fine- applicator works great

After 25 years my old Grandfather clock started to slow down, the chimes were inconsistent and really slow. Eventually they stopped completely. I ordered this oil, went through and oiled all of the moving parts and presto it’s working like brand new. I should have done this long ago. The long spout made it easy to get into the internal points. It’s a very nice product. I will use this at other locations around the house that need attention.

Product arrived in a plastic bag. Inside the bag was the lubricant, needle and a laminated instruction card. I took out the instructions and noticed it was oily which didn't bother me. The lubricant cap was a little loose. I saw that the foil bottle seal was in the cap and a good amount of oil was missing. I'm not sure if the foil cap came off during transit of if the bottle was returned by someone else. The product is good, and some of it was missing, but it wasn't in the bottom of the bag as if it leaked out.

I used this to oil my cucu clock after 20yrs. I was able to use this kit to apply tiny amounts of oil at the gears pins perfectly. My clock was stopping before but working perfectly now!

This stuff worked wonders on an old wall clock my grandparents had. Great price too!

I purchased this with the hopes it would stop a wobble in my mechanical speedo on my 56 y/o car. I will say the speedo develped on much worse woble so YES it penetrated the baring. That might be a backwatd way to rate but I only used a tiny bit and it did penetrate quickly. It says it's used for clocks and has that small drip applictor which is handy.
