Excellent product!
The vanillia aroma is excellent and I love how it feels when I apply it to my face. My razor glides easily.

This. Stuff. Changed. My shaving life. Enjoy my rant...
If you're like me, and apparently plenty of other reviewers here, you have overly sensitive skin and are looking for a final end all of shave creams because you want the cleanest shave with a blade that won't rip your skin up. Look no further, my friends. While this is obviously not a cream, but an oil, it works better than all of the best shave solutions I've ever used. For a long time I was a Cremo user. Loved that stuff. Out of everything I tried, it was the slickest in terms of feel, scent and value. However, even during what felt like my most even shaves, I would still get nicks and catch hairs with a new blade. Not with this stuff. This stuff gave me the smoothest shave I think I've ever had with the most minimal nicking I've also personally ever had. I use a razor from the One Blade Shave line, who's purpose is to mimic that of a single bladed shave system like a classic straight razor, but in a much more accessible form. This product with that blade almost feels like they were made for each other they work so good in conjunction. Now since it is an oil, it gunked up my blade more so than any cream has before. I simply grabbed a bottle of natural ingredient bathroom and tile cleaner and shook the head of my razor off in a small amount of the solution with some warm water for a minute. Came out clean as new. It seems I may have to do that every time I shave now, but a small price I'll totally pay for such a smooth, painless, reliable shave. Onto my one con... I have to admit it is quite strong on the scent. I do get it. As others have noted, castor oil is quite pungent on its own, so they wanna cover it up in a pleasant way. However, methinks a bit too much on the vanilla type scent Opening the cap of this bottle reveals a scent almost immediately reminiscent of Bath & Body Works in the Fall. For some, I could see that being a plus, for others, terrible. I haven't fully decided myself yet, but I will oversmell it (instead of overlook... haha, get it?) for the end result shave is just too good to pass up. One more thing, not a complaint, just an observation, is that the bottle did not look as advertised. The bottle I received was a tall, thin, clear bottle and not the brown, wide bottle pictured above. Felt it necessary to share that. As an added tip, if you're looking for a quality aftershave that aids in preventing in-grown hairs and razor bumps for us super sensitive skin folk, definitely check out Era Organics Aftershave Serum here on amazon. It delivers a sting at first, but no other aftershave has left my skin feeling so hydrated and soft, without being greasy or expensive. You can feel good about its ingredients too and it’s very pleasant scent. This oil, that serum and my One Blade Shave blade have become the cornerstones of my close shave routine. I went from guaranteed bumps, nicks and burns after every shave, to almost none with these products. Thanks for reading and happy shaving! -E

Good pre-shave oil American made.
Blade’s Grim is a nice pre-shave oil with pleasant fragrance like spiced vanilla with hint of citrus. It feels great on the skin and allows the blade to smoothly glide across the skin. What I was disappointed in was with the container being plastic. The contents may react with plastic. The opening is to big so it dispenses more oil then really needed. So I purchased a glass pump dispenser.

This Pre Shave Oil is amazing
This Pre-shave oil smells like warm vanilla to me which I like. I used this pre-shave oil to shave my head bald with my double edge razor. My razor glided across my head with ease. Something interesting that I must mention. I read some where that castor oil helps with inflammation and it is a good idea to apply pre-shave oil after shaving. So after I finished shaving I re-applied this oil to my bald head. I did not get any razor bumps on the back of my neck like I always do. I have to say that this was a first for me. So I will do this every time after I shave. This is a wonderful product and I will recommend this product 100%.

There's LESS Grease/Oil on the underside of My Truck
I tried this twice. Used too much the first time. Used what should've been the correct amount the second time. Let me say that unless you plan to jump in the shower afterwards, this stuff is terrible. It leaves the most disgusting greasy oily residue. You can't touch the area where you've applied it because it'll just get on your hands or fingers then you're transferring it to whatever you're touching afterwards. Never again, I'll be throwing the remainder out, won't even offer it to someone else because I don't want them to know I spent good money on such a product.
