I am posting this to make sure that others don't do what I did. When I ordered these adapters I only looked at the group pic and not the individual close up images and did not realise that these bushings are designed to fit a countersunk hole and not a chamfered hole. Thankfully, I am a machinist with a well equipped and tooled shop and was able to counterbore the existing hole in my ballhead. In my defense in over 40 years in the photographic industry both using and selling equipment I have never seen any tripod head that didn't use a chamfer and until I got these I have never seen one with a counterbore. These are well made and very well finished products and also very affordable. Just be sure to look at ALL of the images to make sure what you order is what you need.

Works ok so far

This product works for my needs, but the metal feels on the softer side if that makes since. Like if you needed to remove it with a plier then the threading would bend.

I have a lot of projects that use photography hardware of these two standard sizes. It's good to carry a small box or bag of these in every case to make sure I can always put something where I want it, whether that's a camera, a light, a gimbal, or whatever. Five stars!
