The item was shipped with only 2 upper part and 4 bottom containers. Not sure if it is mistake or deliberate

Finally, a planter pot that looks good and makes life easier.
These planters are absolutely the very best for start-ups. I love growing new plants from leaves or cuttings from other plants and these planters make the job as easy as possible. You will be more than satisfied. They look good, they are very well made and easy to work with. I was so happy with them that I just purchased another set. The best thing is you never have to worry about watering too much or too little again, just keep that reservoir filled.

It works very well but is dependent on the type of plant you have.
It's a pretty cool idea in theory, but in practice, it depends on the type of plant you're taking care of. I've tested around three plants and found it works best with already-grown avocados. The whole system of using a shoelace as a straw the plants can drink out of is quite genius, and it does work very well. What it doesn't do well, though, is keep seedlings or new plants alive. I've tested an additional three avocados and have had no luck with them surviving, which is with decent-quality earth. I'd imagine this product would work very well with flowers, but I have yet to test other plants like mint to see how they are fair. Overall, I think this project is well-made and worth trying, especially for plant enthusiasts who want to automate their watering cycles to 2-week bursts. As mentioned above, I'd just be wary about seedlings or newer plants. Lastly, I think it's important that whoever is reading this review knows that they will get a lot of stuff for such a low cost. The value here is excellent, even if the quality isn't perfect. Cheers,
