Could I use this on a table top? I have a bunk bed that has an adjustable table that turns into part of the bottom bunk. I’d use 4 together.

you could but you have to have a place to mount the bottom part of the hinges if you plan of mounting them 4 across the top but they will hold it and you can adjust the tension

Technically, yes, you could. However, these weren't designed for outdoor use, if you would likely need the chest hinges last long in the elements, we recommend another soft close hinge lid support for you, which is stainless steel and more heavy duty hinge.
