These are described as ice scoops. and they are a suitable size for that. I used them as snack scoops at a party, they are a touch on the big size for that, but they worked. I had no problem with durability, but I was not scooping ice cubes.

They work perfectly in my flours and sugar canisters. I bake a lot. These replaced a scoop I used for over 30+ years in my flour. Also made of plastic, the handle finally became brittle and snapped off. No local store carried anything even close. I thought replacing it was a lost cause. To my delight these scoops were identical in length and width and volume. A slight difference in the angle of the scoop bottom is the only difference. I suspect they will last longer than I will. After 3 months of use I have no complaints. An option of other than crystal clear would have been nice.
