Can i use this in combination with your other products like the ring seal repair?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the Ring Seal (4416) is compatible with this product but we would not recommend adding too many additives into the system at one time. If adding I would choose to use the Oil Treatment (4447) this oil change and if still losing you can top off with the Ring Seal (4416) as needed between your oil change.

I need a product that will adhere to the metal in my engine, specically my timing chain. On start up I am hearing a rattle. Which product?

This formula increases oil film thickness, building a thicker oil cushion and increasing oil pressure in mid- to high-mileage engines. Increased oil pressure equals improved power and a quieter engine. Rislone High-Performance Oil Treatment also cushions and coats engine internals to reduce friction and wear by preventing metal-to-metal contact between moving parts, giving your vehicle longer engine life.

Use one can of 4471 Rislone Oil Treatment for normal passenger car, truck and SUV engines. For larger engine systems use 1 can for every 5 quarts (4.7 L) of capacity. Do not overfill. On 4-Stroke ATV, motorcycle and small engines, including wet clutch applications, use approximately 3 ounces per quart (90 mL per liter) of oil capacity. For badly worn systems, use double recommend dosage.
